Evelyn Harrison...

Owner of Rolls R Ready, has ten years experience in southern style catering. She attended Mott Community College and studied Baking & Pastry Arts under Executive Chef, David Miller. Presently, Evelyn attends the Wilton School of Cake Decorating once a year and has taken classes at Lovegroves under Teresa O'Brien who is both owner and instructor.

Evelyn was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas where she came from a long line of down home southern cooks. She learned from the best, her father. He was an only child and an excellent cook, and his mother (Gram-momma Rose), taught him how to cook and clean. Evelyn's Aunt-tee, (Ms. Pearlone Manuel) known to many, owned and operated "The Famous Café" in Pine Bluff, Arkansas for over forty years. Evelyn recalls, "When I would go home, I would spend as much time as possible in the restaurant, she gave me a foundation to build on. I will always love and cherish Auntee, Daddy, Gran-momma Rose, cousins Mae Lou, Becky, Bobbie and mom! Now, I can pass this legacy down to my grandson Derrick, who will one day carry on the tradition."
